FootballLeagueTable
Object type
One league table — a competition × season, or one group within it (POD-838).
Backed by competition_standings with standing_type='LEAGUE_TABLE', the same pair that carries
FootballPlayerRankingTable. Deliberately a separate type from that one: a league table and a
top-scorer leaderboard are different things, and returning both from one field would make callers
filter a heterogeneous array by a type string to find either.
Fields
Section titled “Fields”| Field | Args | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
id | — | ID! required | — |
name | — | String! required | The table’s name. League Table for an ungrouped competition, or the group as the feed spells it (Group A, Group East) — normalised to one form at ingest, because the name is part of the container’s unique key. |
season | — | String | Vendor season label the table belongs to, e.g. “2026”. |
updatedAt | — | DateTime! required | When the table last CHANGED — not when it was last delivered. Opta republishes constantly and an identical republish deliberately does not touch this. |
matchday | — | Int | The matchday the table reflects, where the feed carried it. Note there is NO watermark on standings: a late-arriving older matchday can overwrite a newer table, so this is the only signal a reader has that the table is behind. |
