sportCode | SportCode | Optional sport scope (POD-603). courses is shared across sports — a football stadium and a racecourse are both rows in the same table — so an unscoped call mixes them (e.g. a racing course picker also lists football grounds). When set (e.g. RACING) results are restricted to venues that PLAY that sport — course_sports membership (POD-718), not the single originating courses.sport_id — so a venue hosting two sports is returned under both. Omitted → no filter (unchanged). An unknown code is rejected. |
